Precis

This Act amends the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 by making it unlawful for a:

  • Member of Parliament to subject to sexual harassment another Member of Parliament; and
  • Judicial Officer to subject to sexual harassment another Judicial Officer.

This change ensures that the Act more accurately reflects community standards with respect to workplace behaviour.
